The big race for the 2010 championships goes up a cog this weekend with the September pointscore helping sort out the contenders.
Hopefully the swell will accommodate a big thirst among Open, Juniors and Super Groms to slash, burn and pulverize.
With only three events remaining on the schedule, all three titles are very much in motion, which means that riders will be looking to get the best possible tactical advantage.
It’s at this end of the season when making the right calls on Double Whammys are crucial. And when wave selection takes on new meaning.
Watch out for plenty of sparks and magic from the various frontrunners…Matt Mulder and Jack Irvin; Jesse Horner and Nathan Hatheier; and Eathen Jackson and Nathan Martin.
And for the unpredictable, canny and wicked from riders just behind these dudes!
If there are no waves this weekend, then it will be onto the 26th.
