Here’s hoping that the awesome Autumn weather and swells hang around for the May battle for Shoes supremacy.
The lines have been rolling on the Reef That Rules for weeks, with members across the board lacerating from top to bottom.
The May world title contest is always a favourite with members, with south swells always beckoning and the rolling out of steamers to deal with the chillier weather.
Dates for May are: 13-14, with backup weekend of 27-28.
And just a reminder to those surfers who have yet to provide their signed membership form together with their fees.
As per the decision of the Club AGM, ONLY those that are on the list of Secretary-Treasurer Carol Gillespie will be allowed to compete. And right now there are plenty of members who have Not stumped up.
