Our squad for Saturday’s King of the Beach tournament is hardening up into a top notch outfit.
The team has been strengthened by the confirmation of availability of several of our trump cards.
Two time club champion Pete Hvass is taking a day off work to take his place in the Opens division, while Life Member Michael Durante has locked in for the over 28s, along with Matt Cook.
Jeff Waterfield is back in the thick of the action in the 35s and Peter Cabo Halyard is also clear of other commitments to lead the charge in the 40s division.
Matt Mulder has recovered from his leg injury and will go hard in the Opens.
The hot shot team make-up as off now (and, as always, subject to change on the day based on changing circumstances) is:
CADET (16 and under) – Jesse Horner (Reserves Tyler Barnes, Reece Moffat and Harrison Martin)
JUNIORS (20 and under) – Jack Irvin and Matt Holman (Reserves Jarrod Horner and Drew Kelly)
OPENS – Peter Hvass and Matt Mulder (Reserve Ben Cook, Jarrod Horner, Other)

Venue is likely to be The Alley. A reminder that we need Shoes members there in droves early in the morning (6.30am) to help set up the site. All assistance will be appreciated, including judges.
Jack Horner is hosting drinks at his place after the tournament.
