Calling all Shoes surfers – please note the date change for the back-up date for the July contest.
Instead of 19-20, the mid-year showdown of the best Open, Junior and Grommet riders in the southern universe is 26-27.
It means Shoes riders have an extra week to psych-up for what will no doubt be a cracker of a tournament.
The change really means that members can perfect that 360 ally-oop; tighten up on that floater-into slash combo; do a switch foot under the lip etc etc.
It also means that Shoes could be hosting back-to-back contests, with the first weekend of the August waiting period being 2-3 August.
