With school holidays about to end, and Anzac Day commemorations over for another year, the clock switches to the next Shoes World Championship Showdown.
The stakes are high as season 2016 moves into the fourth round of wave bashing endeavour.
7-8 May is the first opportunity for blast-off, followed by 28-29 if the Reef fails to deliver.
The stakes are high. Performances have been outstanding across all four divisions, with the points tables showing that the titles are wide open – all up for grab!
So the countdown is on…tick tock, tick tock!
A couple of things to keep in mind:
Those surfers who have not provided a signed Membership Form, and or not paid their fees, please ensure that you do it at the May tournament.
Also, those members who have not grabbed a 2016 Membership T-Shirt (as supplied by Marcus from Surf Trading Company) , please ask on the contest day.
A treat for the May event is that a barbecue will be provided courtesy of Mick Cornock, with plenty of quality sausages, bread and tomato sauce available for all comers.
